Optimization of CNC machining processes through synergistic integration of value stream mapping and Arima algorithm
In order to systematically solve the problems such as non-standard operation and great randomness of the process flow in the machining workshop facing multi-variety and small-batch production, a typical process of a horizontal CNC lathe is taken as the research object. Combining industrial engineering theory with modern optimization methods, a process optimization model based on motion analysis and operation measurement is constructed. The stopwatch time study method is used to divide operation units, extract value-added and non-value-added time data, and draw a value stream map to identify the links of time waste. Based on the principle of motion economy, the operation movements of workers are optimized, standard process specifications and operation instruction sheets are formulated to reduce non-value-added time. Combined with the ARIMA model, the time distribution of processes is predicted, and the production cycle time and motion sequence are optimized. After optimization, the production cycle is shortened by 29.8%, the proportion of value-added time is increased by 5.5%, the total number of workers' movements is reduced by 15%, and the number of tool adjustments and handling is reduced by 25%. At the same time, the training time for new employees and the time for handling equipment failures are effectively shortened. Practice shows that the combination of industrial engineering methods and algorithm-assisted optimization can significantly improve production efficiency, provide a scientific basis for the standardized management of the workshop and lean production, and has certain engineering application value.
