A study of MHD dissipative Casson nanofluid flow through a porous medium over a stretching sheet under the influence of thermal radiation and chemical reaction

This study investigates the two-dimensional flow of a nanofluid Casson model over a stretching /shrinking sheet within a porous medium, incorporating the effects of magnetic fields, thermal radiation, and viscous dissipation. Using the Hamilton-Crosser model, the physical properties of the nanofluid are analyzed in conjunction with similarity transformations to reduce the governing partial differential equations into an ordinary differential system of ordinary differential equations. The Chebyshev collocation method is employed to solve these nonlinear equations. The effects of various parameters, including porosity, magnetic field, viscosity parameter, Brownian motion parameter, and thermophoresis parameter on the velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles are explored. Results reveal significant influences of these parameters on heat and mass transfer rates, demonstrating the utility of the Casson fluid model in optimizing industrial applications where heat and mass transfer enhancement is crucial. The findings are validated against previous studies, confirming the robustness and accuracy of the methodology used
