Role of prelabour midwifery consultation in enhancing maternal satisfaction and preparedness for birth
Prelabour midwifery consultations are highly valued by pregnant women and contribute to psychological preparation, trust, and satisfaction with childbirth. While they do not influence clinical outcomes, these consultations represent an effective supportive practice that can be integrated into maternity care, with potential enhancements in breastfeeding guidance and postnatal follow-up.
