Special Section on Information and Communication System SecurityInformation and communication system and the security are indispensable for our daily lives.IoT devices, AI-powered services, sensor and wireless networks, smartphones, cloud and edge computing, and platforms such as SNS and e-commerce are now deeply embedded in our modern network-dependent society, where vast and diverse types of information are rapidly exchanged.In such a context, security has become critically important.To promote studies on security, since 2008 the technical committee on Information and Communication System Security (ICSS) organized the special section editorial committees, which were comprised of Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese researchers.This is the eleventh special section.With regard to the Call for Papers, we received 11 submissions (11 full papers and 0 letters) from Japan, China (based on the affiliation of the first author).After careful reviews, six full papers were accepted for publication.
