Eczema Monkeypoxicum Following Sexual Transmission Treated With Tecovirimat
ABSTRACT Mpox is a zoonotic viral infection caused by monkeypox virus (MPXV) and risk factors for its dissemination include previous dermatoses such as atopic dermatitis [1]. We present the case of a 30‐year‐old male with an unusual and extensive presentation of mpox following unprotected sexual intercourse, with an excellent response to tecovirimat 600 mg twice daily.
