Optimization of ELIMED Beamline Transmission with Coil Target Through G4-ELIMED Application

FLASH-radiotherapy (FLASH-RT) is a groundbreaking advancement in radiation therapy, delivering therapeutic doses at ultra-high dose rates exceeding 40 Gy/sec. Achieving the FLASH effect requires not only high instantaneous dose rates but also an average dose rate capable of delivering 10 Gy within a fraction of a second, posing significant technical challenges for accelerator community. Laser-driven proton beams, with peak dose rates reaching 109 Gy/s, present a promising solution to these challenges.
