Theoretical Studies on Structural Correlations in Synthetic Element Copernicium and Binary Liquid Hg–K Alloys
Structural correlations in copernicium (Cn) and binary liquid Hg-K alloys have been investigated within the framework of perturbation theories for partially ordered systems, treating them as square-well fluids. For both systems, the structure factor <i>S</i>(<i>k</i>) was computed using their generated pair-potential functions and subsequently employed to evaluate the long-wavelength limit, coordination number, diffusion coefficient, and isothermal compressibilities. In the case of Hg-K alloys, these correlations and associated properties were further computed at different compositions and temperatures, and the results were compared with the available experimental data.
