Dual roles of the <scp>G462S</scp> mutation of <scp> <i>AaCYP51</i> </scp> in regulating self‐overexpression and <scp>DMI</scp> resistance in <i>Alternaria alternata</i>
These findings demonstrate dual roles of the coding mutation in regulating resistance and self-overexpression. This mechanistic understanding of DMI resistance provides molecular targets for resistance monitoring and management, particularly in cherry orchards where A. alternata poses a major threat to fruit quality and yield. © 2025 Society of Chemical Industry.
