Futuristic aspects on radiation-based nanomaterials role as charge induced trapping behaviour on electronic nanodevices for portable power applications

This review highlights current research endeavors and upcoming scientific pathways in nanotechnology aimed at creating materials, devices, and systems for potential use. For high performance applications charge induced sites has been introduced using specific nanomaterials in order to explore for triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) applications. Due to the mechanistic behavior, the nanomaterials are capable of providing charge induced trapping site which assists in furthermore applications such as photocatalytic and memory device applications. The examination of the current electronic materialistic behavior for emerging applications helps to address the societal implications and concerns related to nanotechnology. In particular, this discussion explains the charge-induced trapping sites/charge-induced blocking layers for different nanodevices that highlights the several challenges expected in the upcoming years and identifies the additional areas for further research.
