Case study of the separation-individuation process in an identical twin following the onset of schizophrenia in a sibling
The typical separation-individuation process within twinships appears to be further complicated by the presence of a psychotic disorder in one twin. These findings underscore the importance of evaluating potential identity issues in the unaffected twin and suggest avenues for further research on clinical support for twin dyads affected by psychosis.
