Multi-stimuli responsive 1,8-naphthalimide-based optical materials for dynamic data encryption and real-time acid vapor sensing
A naphthalimide–boron complex ( 1 ) shows reversible acid-vapor sensing, along with water detection and mechanochromism. Its practical utility is demonstrated through data encryption, anti-counterfeiting features, and real-time acid-vapor monitoring.
