Unexpected exposure to sedative-hypnotics in travellers following a drug-facilitated crime in Colombia
Two travellers were victims of a sedative-facilitated robbery; delayed toxicology revealed clonazepam and zopiclone, underscoring the value of hair testing in late investigations. This case highlights the misuse of benzodiazepines for criminal purposes in Colombia and the importance of systematic toxicological screening in travellers.
