SOCIETAL IMPACT of CNRS RESEARCH ON BATTERIES
<div> The study aims to assess how scientific knowledge has been disseminated to society, the extent to which it has influenced industrial strategies, their economic and social consequences, and public policies, as well as the degree to which environmental considerations have been integrated throughout the value chain. It also emphasizes the role of CNRS research in driving disruptive innovations that can effectively support the reindustrialization of the battery sector in France and Europe, while identifying key levers to enhance future societal impact. The purpose of this impact study is to review research carried out by the CNRS and its partners on batteries and to evaluate their societal implications across economic, political and regulatory, environmental, social, cultural, and health dimensions. </div>
