ʿArwa ban aAlward's ʾaqillī ʿalayya allawma
This paper aims to illustrate the stylist structure of ʿArwa ban aAlward's poem that starts with ʾaqillī ʿalayya allawma yā binta munḏirin. Therefore, I attempt to explore the poem's linguistics levels: phonic, structure, and imagination. This poem may be considered an excellent example that reveals the poet's poetic style because it concentrates on one topic. Also, the poet utilizes his poetic ability which consists of these linguistic levels to convince his wife to not blame him when he practices the social norms called, Aṣṣaʿlka. In addition, his poetic vision, which relies on linguistic levels, helps him to convince the reader. In short, these linguistic levels provide two functions: convincing, and enjoyment.
