Oxygen vacancy engineering and redox coupling-driven enhancement of extended wavelength light absorption and energy storage in Ca(OH) 2 –Sr 0.4 Co 2.6 O 4 <i>via</i> photothermal dehydration
Oxygen vacancy engineering and redox-mediated synergistic mechanisms endow Sr 0.4 Co 2.6 O 4 with abundant free charge carriers, a narrowed bandgap, enhanced photocurrent and photothermal effect, as well as strong absorption across entire solar spectrum.
