Pulmonary Benign Metastasizing Leiomyoma Diagnosed by In Situ Cryobiopsy with Guide Sheath: A Case Report
Pulmonary benign metastasizing leiomyoma (PBML) is a rare condition, typically diagnosed using surgical biopsy, which often presents as multiple pulmonary nodules on chest computed tomography (CT). Although surgical biopsy offers high diagnostic accuracy, it carries risks such as pleural dissemination. Conventional forceps biopsy may generate insufficient tissue sampling when there is no visible bronchial pathway to the lesion.
