Effect of Regular Compound Exercises on Liver Function Indicators AST, ALT and γ-GTP in Men with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of a compound exercise program for preventing liver disease in men with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and to provide basic data for related fields. Research Methods The subjects for the study were 1) men aged 20 to 50. 2) less than 4 bottles of alcohol per week. 3) at least one of AST, ALT: 40 IU/L, γ-GTP: 57 IU/L or higher. The compound exercise program was programmed as a compound exercise by combining aerobic exercise at HRmax/55~65% for 40 minutes and resistance exercise at 1RM/70~85% for 40 minutes, three times a week for a total of 12 weeks.<br/>Results of the study 1. Regular combined exercise for 12 weeks significantly reduces liver function indicators (AST, ALT, γ-GTP) in men with fatty liver. 2. Regular combined exercise for 12 weeks significantly improves liver function indicators (AST, ALT, γ-GTP) in men with fatty liver. Therefore, combined exercise is judged to be more effective than single aerobic exercise when viewed as exercise intervention alone without the help of nutritional supplements, and is valuable enough to be presented as an exercise intervention to induce positive improvements in liver function indicators. In future follow-up studies in related fields, diversified studies with more diverse cases, subjects, and exercise interventions than currently are needed, and it is expected that active continuous research will be conducted by related researchers.
