Design of composite reactive resonance shielding coil for EV-WPT system based on hybrid robust optimization method

The wireless power transfer (WPT) generates leakage electromagnetic fields (LMF) during operation, and uncertainties can further deteriorate the electromagnetic environment, posing risks to human electromagnetic safety. This paper proposes a composite reactive resonance electromagnetic shielding structure and its efficient optimization method. First, considering the high cost and weight of traditional magnetic materials, a combination shielding structure based on nanocrystalline materials, aluminum plates, and reactive resonance coils is adopted to ensure high energy transmission efficiency while achieving system lightweighting. Next, taking the energy transmission efficiency of WPT and the maximum induced electric field intensity inside the human body as optimization targets, the Attention-Unet uncertainty surrogate model is combined with multi-objective whale optimization technique to accomplish swift multi-objective optimization design. In conclusion, the proposed electromagnetic shielding structure’s effectiveness was validated through simulation experiments. The Morris-One-at-a-Time method was utilized to determine the impact levels of the input parameters. Under the influence of uncertainty, the average induced electric field strength inside the human body decreased by 48.38% before and after shielding, while the average induced electric field strength in the lungs decreased by 43.09%. The average energy transfer efficiency of the WPT system increased by 6.46%, and the probability of the induced electric field strength inside the human body exceeding the standard limit dropped to 0%. This demonstrates that the composite reactive shielding coil and its design methodology can effectively shield the leakage electromagnetic fields generated by an 11kW EV-WPT system, ensuring human electromagnetic exposure safety.
