General dermatology and dermatology in primary healthcare
A 78-year-old woman presented with a 4-week history of progressive breathlessness, joint stiffness, fatigue and lower limb oedema. On examination there was pitting oedema with associated skin thickening to all four limbs, with particularly tender quadriceps muscles.
