Lattice engineering in MnO 2 <i>via</i> V 5+ doping for high-performance aqueous Te–MnO 2 batteries

An aqueous tellurium–manganese dioxide (Te–MnO 2 ) battery, which employs carbon-supported tellurium (C@Te) as a replacement for the Zn metal anode coupled with a vanadium-doped MnO 2 (Mn 1− x V x O 2 ) cathode, has been developed.
