Küresel Yapay Zeka Ekosistemi: Patentler, Yatırımlar ve Teknolojik Rekabet

This article is a review that examines the impact of artificial intelligence on global economic, social, and technological transformations. Artificial intelligence has found a broad range of applications, offering innovative solutions across various sectors, from manufacturing processes to the service industry, and has become central to global competition. Actors such as China, the United States, and the European Union are making significant investments to strengthen their AI ecosystems and developing strategic policies to enhance their academic and industrial capacity in this field. The aim of the article is to examine the historical development, core components, and sectoral impacts of artificial intelligence, particularly by analyzing global patent trends and investment patterns in the finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and service sectors. Additionally, the ethical, legal, and socio-economic issues arising from the development of AI are discussed. It is emphasized that, in order to achieve a strong position in this competitive environment, Turkey must increase investments in artificial intelligence, strengthen public-private sector collaborations, and improve digital competencies. This study aims to provide a comprehensive framework for both academic and applied research
