The influence of H 2 O and SO 2 on the mechanism of CO oxidation over low noble metal loading catalysts
Pt species show limited adsorption capacity for SO 2 , allowing CO oxidation to proceed via the L–H pathway. CO oxidation on 0.1Au/Ti and 0.1Ru/Ti is attributed to the MvK pathway. Both H 2 O and SO 2 introduction hinder the MvK pathway on catalysts.
