Regioselective functionalization of sulfenamides: <i>S</i> -arylation with cyclic diaryl λ 3 -bromanes and λ 3 -chloranes
We report an <i>S</i>-selective and <i>meta</i>-regioselective arylation of sulfenamides with cyclic diaryl λ3-bromanes and λ3-chloranes. This metal-free strategy proceeds under mild conditions, tolerates diverse functional groups, and delivers <i>S</i>-aryl sulfilimines in good to excellent yields with high regioselectivity. The method is scalable, enabling scale-up synthesis and further transformations, highlighting the potential for efficient late-stage functionalization.
