Spontaneous Quantum Phase Synchronization in the Spin‐1/2 Heisenberg Chain System

ABSTRACT Quantum synchronization, characterized by correlated dynamics in coupled quantum systems, is an active field with profound implications for quantum technologies. This work investigates near‐perfect spontaneous quantum phase synchronization (QPS) within a spin‐1/2 Heisenberg chain system, a cornerstone in the study of quantum magnetism, enhancing both fundamental insights and technological prospects. We explore the dependencies of synchronization time on interaction strength and system size. Moreover, our analysis confirms the resilience of QPS against random frequency and interaction fluctuations. Intriguingly, we reveal that dephasing can enhance spontaneous QPS, presenting a paradoxical avenue for synchronization improvement. We demonstrate that QPS can attain Heisenberg‐limit precision and discuss practical implementations using superconducting quantum circuits. Our results enrich the understanding of quantum synchronization mechanisms and highlight their potential in enhancing the functionality of quantum systems, essential for both natural and engineered systems.
