Cognitive dysfunction in children with nervous system diseases: modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment

The article is devoted to the actual problem - the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders in children with diseases of the nervous system. The issues of classification, etiopathogenesis, clinical features of delays in speech and mental development in children, cognitive disorders in children with ADHD, autonomic dysfunction syndrome, consequences of traumatic brain injury and neuroinfections are considered in detail. The pathogenetic validity, high efficiency and safety of the use of Mexidol in the complex treatment of cognitive disorders in children with diseases of the nervous system are shown.
