This analysis equips future business leaders with the knowledge to assess executive decision-making and its long-term implications on business success. Methodology: An exploratory qualitative approach has been utilized in this study to collect and analyze relevant data. Sources include keyword-based searches conducted through Google Search, Google Scholar, and AI-enabled GPT systems, followed by structured analysis in accordance with the research aims. Results / Analysis: This paper provides an in-depth analysis of Anders Opedal, the CEO of Equinor, highlighting his professional journey, leadership approach, and impact on the company, industry, and broader energy sector. Equinor is a leading Norwegian energy company focused on oil, gas, and renewable energy, driving the transition toward sustainability. Anders Opedal, appointed CEO in 2020, has emphasized digitalization, decarbonization, and strategic innovation to position Equinor for a low-carbon future. His leadership reflects a commitment to balancing profitability with environmental responsibility in the evolving global energy landscape.
