Electrochemical reconstruction of CuMoO 4 into CuO nanosheets for efficient electro-oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural

A CuMoO 4 pre-catalyst was electrochemically reconstructed into a CuO catalyst with abundant oxygen vacancies, which promote the generation of Cu 3+ active species, thereby significantly improving HMF electro-oxidation activity.
