ASTM D975 DİZEL YAKIT STANDARDI VE UYGULAMALARI: YAKIT KALİTESİ, MOTOR PERFORMANSI VE ÇEVRESEL ETKİLER ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME
This study focuses on the core requirements of the ASTM D975 standard for diesel fuels, highlighting its significance in terms of fuel quality, engine performance, and environmental effects. The discussion covers the influence of critical parameters such as cetane number, sulfur content, viscosity, flash point, and water-sediment levels on engine efficiency, maintenance costs, and emissions. In addition, real-world case studies are provided to illustrate the risks and expenses associated with using non-compliant fuels. The findings indicate that ASTM D975 plays a vital role in enhancing the sustainability of diesel engines and promoting environmentally responsible fuel use.
