INFLUENCE OF BIOLOGICAL PREPARATIONS ON WINTER TRITICALE OVERWINTERING AND GRAIN YIELD IN THE MIDDLE URALS
Akmanaev E.D., Startseva A.V. Abstract. This paper presents the results of research conducted in 2022-2025 on sod-podzolic heavy loamy soil in the agroclimatic conditions of Perm region, to study winter triticale overwintering and formation of grain yield depending on the methods and timing of Albit, TPS and ECO-SP preparations application. Three years research have shown that pre-sowing seed treatment with the studied biological products increases field germination by 5-6% and overwintering survival by 6%. Effectiveness of the treatments is increased under unfavorable conditions. Double treatment (seeds + autumn sowing) increased winter triticale plant survival after winter by 9%, the number of productive plants by 19 pcs/m2 and the density of productive stems by 58 pcs/ m2. On average, over the three years of research, tested winter triticale varieties produced comparable yields: 4.02 t/ha for Tsekad 90 variety and 4.13 t/ha for Sibard variety. The greatest increase in grain yield was achieved with double treatment. Use of Albit and TPS increased yield by 13% on Tsekad 90 variety, while ECO-SP increased yield by 7%. Sibard variety also responded to this treatment with a significant increase in grain yield by 10% and 8%, respectively. The studied preparations provided comparable effects on overwintering and other elements of yield structure.
