EFFECT OF LIQUID ORGANIC AND MINERAL FERTILIZERS ON PRODUCTIVITY AND QUALITY OF CORN GREEN MASS

The study was conducted to assess the effect of liquid organic and mineral fertilizers on productivity and quality of corn green mass to improve the crop’s fertilization system. The work was conducted from 2022 to 2024 in Pre-Kama region of the Republic of Tatarstan on gray forest soil. The experimental design included the following treatments: no fertilizer (control); BATR 40N fertilizer at 4 l/ha during the six-leaf stage; a tank mixture of BATR 40N at 4 l/ha + BATR Zn at 1 l/ha during the six-leaf stage. The object of the study is DKS 3006 corn hybrid. The agrometeorological conditions of the growing seasons in the experiment years varied significantly: in 2022 the HTC was 0.9, in 2023 - 0.4, in 2024 - 0.6 units. Foliar feeding contributed to an increase in the yield of green mass on average over the years of research by 2.6...4.5 t/ha, cobs - by 1.6...3.2 t/ha, dry matter collection - by 1.15...1.86 t/ha, starch - by 0.6...1.1 t/ha. At the same time, the content of crude protein increased by 0.6...1.0%, its yield - by 0.15...0.25 t/ha, the yield of exchangeable energy from 1 ha - by 11.52...18.71 GJ/ha. The greatest effect in the experiment was observed with a tank mix of BATR 40N fertilizer at 4 l/ha + BATR Zn at 1 l/ha. On average, over the years of research, this treatment yielded 4.5 t/ha of green mass, 13.37 t/ha of dry matter, 4.45 t/ha of starch, and 1.08 t/ha of crude protein. The maximum increase in metabolizable energy yield in the experiment was 18.71 GJ/ha.
