Van Küresinli Ağzında Kullanılan Edatlara Bir Bakış
In its most general definition, a preposition is a task language unit that does not express a specific meaning and gains meaning in syntax. Therefore, prepositions are also called function words. Prepositions are generally handled under the subheadings of prepositions of conjugation, prepositions of binding, prepositions of comparison and equalization, prepositions of asking, prepositions of reply, interjections, prepositions of demonstration, prepositions of repetition, prepositions of invitation-address and prepositions of reinforcement. In this study, the prepositions used in Van Küresinli dialect were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, a total of one hundred and eleven prepositions were identified in the dialect in question. Forty of them consist of interjections, thirteen of them consist of inflectional prepositions, thirty-five of them consist of binding prepositions, three of them consist of comparison and equalization prepositions, ten of them consist of interrogative prepositions, six of them consist of response prepositions, two of them consist of demonstrative prepositions, and two of them consist of strengthening prepositions. There are some interesting prepositions in the Van dialect, the use of which is not found in the Compilation Dictionary. The prepositions of sėvâ/sėvayh (other than, other than, other than) and (-nen) buyan/buyane/büyan/büyane (since), which are also used in Azerbaijani Turkish, Turkmen Turkish and Halachic, taken from the Arabic sivâ' “other, other”, are some of them. In addition to these, there are many other remarkable prepositions such as olmiye “maazallah, inşallah, ya”, diyesen göra “as if”, illım/illim “necessarily”
