Muğlalı İbrahim Şâhidî’nin Dirler Redifli Gazeli Üzerine Bir Söylem Çözümlemesi
Discourse analysis, which is a subfield of linguistics and examines how language is used in a specific context, is widely applied in various disciplines such as sociology, philosophy, communication, and literature. Discourse analysis, which is one of the modern analytical methods used to interpret classical Turkish poetry texts today, is a way of studying individual language use or any kind of action within its production conditions. Since classical Turkish poetry is based on certain rules, patterns, and literary arts, both the internal structure of the text and its historical and social context are considered in discourse analysis. In this study, a ghazal with the redif 'dirler' by Muğlalı Şâhidî, a 16th-century Mevlevi poet known for his literary personality and style, will be analyzed as a conversational text and examined through discourse analysis, which is a modern method of reading language.
