Kum Darı’da (Panicum miliaceum L.) Farklı Tohum Miktarı Uygulamasının Ot ve Tane Verimine Etkisi
Although our country has a great potential in terms of livestock breeding, sufficient yield cannot be obtained. In recent years, with the effect of global warming, in order to introduce different types of forage crops into the system in terms of yield, quality and cost in field agriculture, this research was carried out with sand millet, which can grow in very different climatic and soil conditions and has short growth periods, in the field of Selçuk University Sarıcalar Farm located in Sarıcalar neighborhood of Selcuk District of Konya province, to determine the yield-based information of the product to be taken per decare by planting sand millet at different rates under Konya ecological conditions. The prepared seed bed was sown at 2 kg/ha, 4 kg/ha, 6 kg/ha and 8 kg/ha. The research was conducted as two separate experiments according to the “Randomized Complete Block Design” on May 1, 2023 with 3 replications. In the research, the highest green grass yield was 3366.7 kg/da, the highest dry grass yield was 1070 kg/da and grain yield was 504.8 kg/da.
