Computational analysis of MHD flow over a nonlinear sheet with hybrid MoS₂-ZnO-engine oil nanofluid and Newtonian heating
In this study, the movement and heat transfer characteristics of a magneto hydrodynamic (MHD) hybrid nano liquid of zinc oxide (ZnO) supplemented by molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) dispersed in engine oil on a nonlinear shrinking/stretching exterior at a stagnation point are considered in comparison to Newtonian heating. Through the appropriate similarity transformations, the dominant partial differential equations governing the heat transfer and liquid motion can be changed into a system of nonlinear ODE. The associated equations are then mathematically solved. The velocity and temperature profiles are followed with respect to the effects of various key parameters, such as the nonlinear stretching/shrinking parameter, the volume fractions of the hybrid nanoparticles, the Newtonian heating and the intensity of the magnetic field. Comparing the basic nanofluid (MoS2/engine oil) to the results, the results demonstrates that the concentration of MoS2 and ZnO nanoparticles in the hybrid nanofluid significantly enhanced the thermal energy and total heat transmission of the hybrid nanofluid. Moreover, the magnetic field enhances the speed of heat transfer, but it reduces fluid motion. The behaviour of flow and the boundary layer thickness is initiated to be largely influenced by nonlinear stretching/shrinking parameter. In addition, Newtonian heating parameter increases the transfer of heat at the outer part and increases the thermal boundary layer. Such findings enhance understanding of MHD flows on nonlinear surfaces in the conditions of practical thermal boundaries and demonstrate the prospects of hybrid nanofluids in the complex thermal control tasks.
