Risk management of transaction security using blockchain technology in the international logistics industry
As global logistics industries increasingly adopt blockchain technology to support new transaction types and trade models, there is a growing emphasis on establishing secure payment channels and addressing the associated transaction security risks. In this context, the present study employs the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to systematically explore the risk categories related to blockchain-based transaction security in the international logistics industry, and integrates the Risk Matrix approach to identify risk levels and formulate appropriate risk management strategies. The empirical analysis yields three key findings: 1. Financial risk emerges as the most critical assessment dimension, exerting a significant influence on the transaction security of international logistics operators adopting blockchain technology. 2. Blockchain technology demonstrates strong potential to mitigate data loss and damage, while simultaneously reducing transaction costs, thereby enhancing overall operational efficiency. 3. There is a notable absence of government-specific blockchain legislation and regulatory frameworks, which are essential to safeguard data security for both industry stakeholders and customers.
