Interprofessional Collaboration in Cancer Care: A Perspective on Interventional Oncology Programs
Advancements in treatment provide patients with options to manage their disease among multiple disciplines. There is minimal to no evidence on IO programs and their impact on patient outcomes through interprofessional collaboration. Clinical IO care teams need to operate in an interprofessional framework to provide patient-centered care.
