The genome sequence of the Carnation Tortrix, Cacoecimorpha pronubana (Hübner, 1799) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae)
<ns3:p> We present a genome assembly from an individual female <ns3:italic>Cacoecimorpha pronubana</ns3:italic> (Carnation Tortrix; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 558.40 megabases and 517.68 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (99.97%) is scaffolded into 30 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.69 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland. </ns3:p>
