The genome sequence of the Dark-streaked Tortrix, Acleris umbrana (Hübner, 1799) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae)
<ns3:p> We present a genome assembly from an individual male <ns3:italic>Acleris umbrana</ns3:italic> (Dark-streaked Tortrix; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 605.00 megabases and 585.63 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (99.61%) is scaffolded into 30 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.27 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 12 876 protein-coding genes. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland. </ns3:p>
