Dynamic Predictors of Malignancy in Main Duct‐Involved IPMN: The Critical Role of MPD Diameter Changes in a Multicenter Study
Dynamic MPD monitoring is essential for assessing malignancy risk in patients with MPD-involved IPMN. An MPD growth rate of ≥ 2 mm/year was the strongest predictor of malignant transformation, underscoring the value of longitudinal surveillance over static MPD diameter thresholds. Patients with rapid MPD growth should be considered for early surgical intervention or intensified monitoring to improve clinical outcomes.
