A STUDY ON THE PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH PATHWAY OF DAILY ACTIVITIES AND SLEEP QUALITY IN STROKE PATIENTS WITH HEMIPLEGIA FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF CHAIN MEDIATION MODEL
Abstract Objectives To analyze the psychological health pathway of daily activities and sleep quality in stroke patients with hemiplegia from the perspective of chain mediation model. Methods 300 stroke patients with hemiplegia admitted to our hospital from January 2024 to December 2024 were selected as the subjects of this study. They were randomly divided into a control group (150 cases, conventional intervention) and an observation group (150 cases, interventions for psychological health pathway from the perspective of chain mediation model) according to the random number table method. The daily activity ability, sleep quality, psychological status and other indicators of the two groups of patients were compared. Results The observation group showed better Barthel index, climbing/standing ability, dressing ability, and toilet independence score than the control group after intervention (p<.05);The observation group showed better improvements in sleep quality, falling asleep time, sleep efficiency, and daytime functional impairment than the control group (p<.05);The observation group showed a significantly greater decrease in anxiety (SAS) and depression (SDS) scores after intervention compared to the control group (p<.05). Conclusions From the perspective of the chain mediation model, the psychological health pathway effect of daily activities and sleep quality in stroke hemiplegia patients is significant, which is conducive to improving patients’ daily activity ability, improving their sleep quality, and strengthening their psychological state. It is worth promoting in future interventions for stroke hemiplegia patients.
