EFFECT OF ULTRASOUND-GUIDED NERVE BLOCK ANESTHESIA COMBINED WITH RAPID REHABILITATION NURSING IN ELDERLY PATIENTS WITH FEMORAL NECK FRACTURES
Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of ultrasound-guided nerve block anesthesia combined with rapid rehabilitation nursing on the postoperative pain score and the time to first getting out of bed activity in elderly patients with femoral neck fractures. Methods According to the random number table method, 90 elderly patients with femoral neck fractures were grouped, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received traditional anesthesia combined with rapid rehabilitation nursing, while the observation group received ultrasound-guided nerve block anesthesia combined with rapid rehabilitation nursing. The VAS at 24 h, 48 h and 72 h after surgery, the time to first getting out of bed activity, the incidence of postoperative complications and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The VAS scores of the observation group at 24 h, 48 h and 72 h after the operation were significantly lower than those of the control group. The time to first getting out of bed activity in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group. However, the satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher. There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided nerve block anesthesia combined with rapid rehabilitation nursing in elderly patients with femoral neck fractures can effectively alleviate postoperative pain, shorten the time to first getting out of bed, and improve the comfort and satisfaction of patients.
