Corrigendum to: Characteristics of wolf attacks on humans in India from 1970 to 2024

The author of the above-mentioned paper regrets to inform readers that, in the published paper, the attacks listed as occurring in the state of Bihar actually took place in what is now the state of Jharkhand, and none occurred in present-day Bihar.All of these incidents happened before the year 2000, when Jharkhand was still part of the undivided Bihar.Therefore, caution is warranted when interpreting the results, as the attacks should be understood as belonging either to present-day Jharkhand or to the former undivided Bihar prior to 2000.This means that the graphical representation of attacks in Fig. 1 was incorrect in the published version (top figure) and should be corrected as follows (below figure):
