Eco-Friendly Innovations: Harnessing Green Nanotechnology for Advanced Pharmaceutical Applications

Abstract: Green nanotechnology entails the combination of nanoscience, green chemistry, and sustainable engineering in order to develop safe, energy-saving, and biodegradable drug delivery systems. Green systems, unlike traditional nanomaterials that rely on toxic solvents and high en-ergy inputs, involve the use of plant extracts, natural polymers, and environmentally friendly pro-cesses to produce biocompatible nanocarriers. This editorial provides insight into how green nan-otechnology can be used to enhance pharmaceutical innovation as a way of solving sustainability, safety, and regulatory issues. It goes on to highlight that the world regulators (FDA, EMA, CDSCO) should develop sustainability-specific guidelines and increase partnership between aca-demia and industry. Green nanotechnology has the ability to transform the face of pharmaceutics to a more patient-centered and environmentally friendly environment by integrating sustainability measures and encouraging collaboration within the industry.
