Vibration Characteristics of Lead halide Perovskite T-shaped Plates under Action of multi-physical light-electricity-thermal fields
This study investigates the natural frequencies and critical buckling loads of T-shaped lead halide perovskite plates under multi-physical fields (optical, electrical, and thermal). While the vibration analysis of such structures with isotropic or simple composite materials has been explored, the unique behavior of perovskite materials under combined fields introduces new complexities. This research focuses on the pre-buckling and buckling state induced by these multi-physical fields, determining the natural frequencies under such conditions. The displacement field is modeled using the first-order shear deformation theory, with linear strain-displacement relations suitable for the two-dimensional plate environment. The constitutive model integrates advanced mechanisms such as photo-striction, which relates deformation to incident light intensity; electro-striction, linking mechanical strain to electric fields; photo-thermal effects, where temperature variations are induced by optical fields; thermoelasticity, capturing mechanical responses to thermal changes; and inverse piezoelectricity, where mechanical strain results from electric fields. These interactions create a highly coupled multi-physical environment essential for accurately modeling perovskite plates. The equations of motion are derived using Hamilton's principle in their strong form. A hybrid numerical approach combining the finite element method and the generalized differential quadrature method is employed. The plate is discretized into rectangular finite elements, each further divided by quadrature points, to extract motion equations at each node. By enforcing displacement and stress continuity conditions, the global system equations are assembled. Bifurcation stability analysis is performed to determine critical optical, electrical, and thermal fields, and subsequently, the system's natural frequencies under multi-physical field combinations are calculated. The innovative aspect of this work lies in being the first to analyze the vibrational behavior of complex-shaped perovskite-based plates under multi-physical fields. Findings highlight the significant influence of structural dimensions on stability and dynamic performance. Anticipated results may further reveal the interplay between multi-physical fields and vibrational characteristics, providing insights into optimizing perovskite-based components for advanced optoelectronic and energy-harvesting applications, such as high-performance solar cells, LEDs, and flexible electronic devices.
