SING IMT telescopic intraocular lens implantation in a patient with inverse retinitis pigmentosa: A case report
This case reporting use of the SING IMT in inverse RP demonstrates its potential to improve vision and quality of life in patients with central vision loss from retinal dystrophies, surpassing typical cataract surgery outcomes. The 2.5x magnification and structured rehabilitation were key to functional gains. Larger studies are needed to validate efficacy and refine patient selection.
