A lattice-ordered T-bipolar soft group framework for smart manufacturing system optimization in industrial engineering

In smart manufacturing systems, decision-making is essential for setting priorities and allocating resources as efficiently as possible. Predictive models are used to make decisions about whether to schedule maintenance, change production levels, or introduce new technology. Thus, smart manufacturing solutions increase productivity overall, save costs, and promote flexibility. For this purpose, in this article, we have developed the idea of a lattice-ordered T-bipolar soft group. We have defined the idea of “OR product”, “AND product”, extended union, restricted union, extended intersections, and restricted intersections for two lattice-ordered T-bipolar soft groups. We have proved that extended union and extended intersection don’t need to be always a lattice-ordered T-bipolar soft group. We have provided an algorithm to discuss the application perspective of the initiated approach. We have used these notions and defined algorithms in the prioritization of smart manufacturing systems by providing the application of the proposed theory in industrial engineering.
