Inside Front Cover: Design of Cryogenic Electrolyte with Organic‐Free Solvation Structure for Wide‐Temperature Zinc Metal Batteries (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 49/2025)
A weak-solvation electrolyte with reduced coordinated water is developed by introducing proline containing both hydrogen-bond donors and acceptors, which disrupts the hydrogen-bond network among water molecules and promotes fast desolvation and interfacial kinetics. This design enables uniform Zn deposition, suppressed parasitic reactions, and stable performance across a wide temperature range.
