Editorial to the Special Issue on Road User Interactions in the Age of Vehicle Automation
• We summarise 15 articles from the special issue on AV–road user interactions. • Theme one examines how road users currently interact with each other and AVs. • Theme two explores how AV integration reshapes road users’ traffic interactions. • Theme three investigates how context affects AV–road user interactions. • Finally, we reflect on a decade of research with future directions for AV adoption.
