(P19) comparing of Peniflex silicone implant insertion and liquid implant “Activegel” injection for penile girth enlargement

Abstract Background Male dissatisfaction with the penis size is the most common manifestation of penile dysmorphophobia. The aim of this work is to compare the results (safety and satisfaction rate) of silicone implant Peniflex installation and synthetic liquid implant “Activegel” injection to increase circumference of the penis. Methods In 2016-2024 there were performed 136 penis enlargement surgeries with Peniflex and Activegel was injected to 46 patients in medical centers in Mexico, Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, and the UAE. Results While implanting a silicone implant, the majority of the patients - 131 (96%) are satisfied with the result, 127 (93.4%) patients mention an improvement in sexual life, 129 (94.8%) also mention an increase in their own self-sufficiency. Next complications were mentioned: 2 (1.4%) episodes displacement of the silicone implant, 1 (0.73%) patient mentioned prolapse of the matrix, 1 (0.73%) patient mentioned a decrease an erection, in 1 (0.73%) case the silicone implant had to be removed due to the fact that the patient did not like the appearance. While using a synthetic liquid implant “Activegel” 30-60 ml injections in 46 patients, we haven’t seen any significant complications. However, 3 patients were unsatisfied and required additional “Activegel” injections between 2 and 6 months to optimize the shape or volume of the penis. 44 (95.6%) patients mentioned an improvement in the sexual function and sexual sensations of their partner, harmonization of relationships in a couple, and 45 (97.8%) men - an increase in a sense of self-sufficiency. Conclusion Thus, modern implants can improve the size and appearance of the penis, improve the quality of sexual life, and the feeling of self-sufficiency in operated men. The injection of liquid implant “Activegel” is simpler, almost does not require specific rehabilitation after injection, it is more physiological, and can be considered as a standard for safe penis enlargement. Peniflex implantation surgery has a small amount of complications. Most of the operated patients were satisfied results of the silicone implant.
