Long-term evaluation of post restorations: Results from a practice-based study with up to 20 years of follow-up
ETT+P placed in general practice settings demonstrated high success and survival rates over up to two decades. However, recementation of old telescopic crowns following post placement markedly increased failure risks, underlining the need to discuss these implications with patients during treatment planning. The study was registered in the German Clinical Trials Register (DRKS-ID: DRKS00012938).
